Andrea is an emerging composer working in film, video games and theatre who is rapidly gaining recognition for her music. She was classically trained at the University of Glasgow in composition and has also gained a Masters in composing for TV and Film.

Andrea recently finished scoring her first feature film The Devil’s Rock directed by Paul Campion, produced by Leanne Saunders and the New Zealand film council. Special effects are by Pete Jackson’s Academy award winning WETA Workshop (Lord of the Rings, District 9). The film was premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and is being released in the UK on the 8th July and globally in September.

Timedancer is another exciting project Andrea is currently working on. A video/gaming application for Windows Media 7, it is at the cutting edge of games for the mobile phone platform.

This year Andrea was chosen to participate in the inaugural "Composers MiniLab" at the Edinburgh Film Festival whose aim is to identify and nurture emerging talent.

She is also a member of www.screenedmusic.co.uk an exclusive film and television composers club, where she is described as part of “the cream of emerging British film and television composers”.
